2021 WV ACOG Meeting
Postponed Indefinitely

Stonewall Resort
Roanoke, West Virginia

We take seriously our obligation to public health.

Our conference kicks off this year on October 14th with multiple speakers and topics impacting perinatal care across the state!  With interest and enthusiasm growing for the return of this annual event, currently we are planning to hold the Perinatal Summit in person. Please know that we are closely monitoring the developments of COVID-19 in West Virginia. We are aware of the concerns raised by the spread of the Delta variant and vaccination rates in the area. In the event that there are new regulatory or other requirements which make holding an in-person event no longer possible, we plan to pivot to a virtual format.  All registrations for the in-person event will be honored for the virtual event if this occurs.

As we plan to meet in person, we are implementing numerous health and safety measures to mitigate the spread of disease.  Participants will see social distancing in table and chair placements, bottled and packaged refreshments, sanitizer stations, and crowd flow plans during breaks and meal times. Everyone is requested to wear masks throughout the event. Additionally, understanding that the vast majority of new COVID cases and hospitalizations are to unvaccinated persons, we are requesting all persons eligible for vaccination to complete the process prior to attending the event. Thank you for your understanding, as all of this is done to help protect the health and safety of our conference staff, participants, and speakers.

In order to effectively implement social distancing measures, we must limit registration this year.  In expectation of a sell out event, we will establish a waitlist.  If you need to cancel at any point please contact us at your earliest convenience so we may free up your spot for another.

Where professionals in perinatal care come together to share best practices, current trends and experiences in patient care!

This event is made possible through grants from the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission, Division of Health Sciences; WV Bureau for Behavioral Health and Health Facilities; WV Bureau for Public Health, Office of Maternal, Child and Family Health, and through support from partners.
